We spent two days at Chelsea Velo Nordic for our staff retreat. The location is excellent in that we were away from the office, but still an easy commute from our respective homes. We had fantastic weather and actually ran some of our breakout sessions outside in the yard. The interior is spacious and we were able to gather as a group of 12 in the living room - it was tight, but we made it work. There's a simple kitchen to use and a big rec. room, too. You're also not far from the restaurants in Old Chelsea and Gatineau Park. Alisha and Trevor are fantastic hosts and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location.

Me and my family joined extended family for couple of days over last weekend. Very spacious rooms filled with art and being quiet makes it a lotmoreconvenient. The gaming room at the basement is a big bonus. Highly recommend it. Definitely we will be back with longer plans...

We spent 1 month in this lovely location. The location is close to Ottawa and Gatineau and all the amenities, so if you crave a little city action it's only 15-20 minutes away. Conversely, it is within walking distance to Old Chelsea, a lovely little hamlet with pubs and a wonderful ice-cream palour, or gourmet coffee and bakeries. The river, Gatineau Parc, and endless cycling and hiking trails are all nearby. More than you can explore, with an endless variety of scenes, woods, and trails. The property itself is wonderful and spacious. Our gracious hosts allowed us full use of their vegetable garden, which we took full advantage of; lots of tomatoes, fennel, mint, basil, cucumbers and on and on. Many an evening was spent outside, enjoying a cozy campfire, telling stories and enjoying a fine wine. The accommodations were more than enough! We had full use of great games room, lots of bedrooms, and a great place to retreat for the occasional rain storm that came our way. We also had wonderful access to a great covered patio to enjoy outdoor dinners with friends that dropped by. New additions include a large bathroom, our own laundry facility, and a cozy kitchen where we often baked bread to share with friends and our hosts. If you want a retreat to escape, wonderful hosts, and not have to worry about the convenience of being home, then this is most certainly the place! We will be back!

We stayed for a month in this spacious, sun-filled house. Great location, especially if you like to be in the forest. The Chelsea Trails network is almost in the backyard, as are other other trails at the end of a dirt road on the other side of Chemin Scott. The games room is a definite plus for families. We recommend this BnB. You'll have a great time there with super responsive hosts.

Stayed at Trevors place with a few friends for a mountain biking weekend in the Gatineau’s and Mont Ste Marie. His place is as advertised and more. The location is perfect - close to old Chelsea, riding/hiking trails, Gatineau park and even for a quick trip up to Mont Ste Marie (where the riding is a blast!). The place itself was very clean and spacious, tucked back on a hillside beside (in??) Gatineau park. To top it all off, Trevor offered to take us out as a guide around the local trails. We had a variety of skill levels and he did a great job matching that up with the trails he showed us. And a lot of these trails are hard to find so having Trevor take us out was awesome. My only reluctance in writing this review is that others are going to steal this spot away from us but I’m told our spot is secure for next year. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here last week for a work retreat. Beautiful space, lots of room to spread out, even sit outside for some breakout sessions, and a cool games room downstairs to boot! The bedrooms looked really lovely and comfy too. Would definitely consider an overnight stay here. The location was also excellent - not too far from Ottawa and the drive was gorgeous this time of year. With all the great spots in Chelsea and walking trails just minutes away it was ideal.
